Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What classes should I take as a beginner?
If you’re new to yoga, we recommend starting with our Foundation Yoga, Hatha, Flow + Restore, and Flow + Meditate classes. These classes move at a mindful pace and provide a great foundation for your practice.
Foundation Class is offered every Friday at 4:30 PM, specifically designed to break down fundamental postures, alignment, and breathing exercises—perfect for beginners!
That said, all of our classes are open-level, and we encourage you to explore different styles and teachers to see what resonates with you. No matter which class you choose, go at your own pace, listen to your body, and most importantly—have fun with your practice!
Do you offer hot yoga?
While our studio is comfortably warm, we do not offer hot yoga. Instead, we believe in generating heat from within through breath and movement. This approach supports a more sustainable practice, allowing you to cultivate inner strength and deepen your meditation without relying on external heat.
What is your late policy?
To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, we ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes early to check in. Late entry is not permitted once class has started.
We understand that delays happen (NYC subway, life, etc.), so we offer a 5-minute grace period for latecomers. However, if you arrive more than 5-6 minutes late, unfortunately, you will not be allowed to enter. Refunds or class credits will not be provided.
This policy helps maintain the integrity of the practice, and ensures minimal disruption to our class.
We’re here to support your yoga journey. Please feel free to email us if you have any further questions.
